Kayakers Find Opportunity in Coastal Bend Region

The Coastal Bend region features plenty of water, so it stands to reason that water recreational opportunities are abundant.

They include kayaking excursions, which are becoming more popular all the time. For example, Corpus Christi has three beaches that offer kayak launch sites, with paddling destinations that include Shamrock Cove, Lighthouse Trails and Laguna Madre. There are also three shady rivers that paddlers can explore – Aransas, Mission and Nueces.

Coastal Bend kayak rentals range from $30-$50 a day, plus mileage charges for pickup and delivery.
