Robstown Fairgrounds Bustles Year-Round
Published May 27, 2008

The Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown is a multipurpose complex that is busy year-round.

The first phase opened in 2003 with a 4,200-seat baseball stadium. In 2007, a central pavilion arena was added; it houses 1,900 bleacher seats and 3,200 floor seats to accommodate concerts, family shows, indoor football, equestrian shows and rodeos.

There are also two exhibition halls on site that can be used for trade shows, plus a conference center banquet hall that can seat 1,200. Future plans include adding an open-air equestrian center with seating for 1,000, and another indoor arena that would accommodate 4,500 spectators.
