Naval Air Station Lands New Training Facility
Published May 26, 2008

Construction is under way for a new flight-training building at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, thanks to a $12 million contract that the Navy awarded to a local firm, Marshall Co. Inc.

The 52,000-square-foot building, scheduled to be completed by fall 2009, will enable the Naval Air Station to consolidate all flight training functions under one roof, including new flight simulators and briefing and debriefing rooms.
